AeroParts Now Announces Jeffrey Jerge as Chief Executive Officer

Jan. 4, 2021

AeroParts Now, developer of the aviation industry’s most advanced parts inventory management and sales software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, announced that Jeffrey Jerge has been named Chief Executive Officer. Jerge’s leadership position with AeroParts Now will commence immediately.

Jerge has more than 20 years of combined consulting, management and leadership experience in aerospace technology companies, most recently as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Inventory Locator Service, LLC (ILS). Prior to that, he led marketing and product development efforts as Director of Marketing and Product Management at ILS, for a total of over eight years at the company.

“Jeff’s appointment as CEO will take us to new heights as an aviation-focused software company,” said Sam Simon, Chairman and Founder of Simon Group Holdings, AeroParts Now’s parent company. “His experience will give us valuable insights into the opportunities and hurdles for true aerospace eCommerce. We’re looking forward to his energy to lead us in our vision to become the future of aviation commerce,” he said. “We chose Jeff because of his experience in the aftermarket part sales industry and ability to scale operations to support the large number of companies across the world that are ready for a modern and efficient way to sell parts now and in the future. He understands how parts are bought and sold, and how they are overhauled and recertified for commercial and military customers. His experience will help AeroParts Now achieve a dominant position in the industry.”

“I’m excited to join the AeroParts Now team,“ said Mr. Jerge. “I chose APN because their team has the most realistic, most complete vision for transforming the way we manage and sell parts. It’s where the industry is moving and they are leading the way.”

Before AeroParts Now and ILS, Jerge also worked in sales and marketing at GECAS, where he managed sales for recertified rotable parts. Prior to that, he worked in program management at Aviall, where he oversaw component repair and overhaul operations and supply chain management. Jerge began his aviation career as a consultant for American Airlines where he was responsible for developing internal processes and supporting the merger with Trans World Airlines.

Jerge received his BS in Aeronautical Science and MBA degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and is an instrument rated commercial and instructor pilot.
