Euramec, the European flight simulation manufacturer, chooses Canada as a future sales and maintenance site. Euramec NV will continue to develop advanced Flight Training Devices for the global markets from the head office in Belgium. The company structure, however, is being adjusted to reflect the needs of customers.
Bert Buyle, CEO, said: “Our efforts in international markets resulted in a strong commercial outlook. We need to scale up and have selected Canada as our home base for the North American market.” Euramec will have operating facilities in the following regions:
- Euramec Belgium: Headquarters and R&D
- Hangzhou Euramec Aviation Technologies (HEAT): China-oriented R&D, Sales & Support division
- New: Euramec Portugal: Mechanical Design and Flight Sim Production
Planned: Euramec North America: support sales and maintenance operations
