FlightSafety International Names Chad Raney Assistant Manager, Wichita East Learning Center
NEW YORK (November 30, 2017) –FlightSafety International announces that Chad Raney has been named Assistant Manager, Wichita East Learning Center. He succeeds Scott Politte who has been promoted to Center Manager.
“Chad has made a significant contribution to the success of the Wichita East Learning Center,” said Daniel MacLellan, Senior Vice President Operations. “This, along with his 20 years of experience in aviation, made him an excellent choice for Assistant Manager.”
He joined FlightSafety in 2008 at the Wichita East learning Center as an instructor in the Hawker 900XP training program. Chad was named Program Revisions Manager in 2009 and Assistant Director of Programs the following year. He most recently served as Director of Programs.
Prior to joining FlightSafety, Chad flew for a leading airline and served as Director of Flight Operations for a corporate flight department, managing both pilot and maintenance operations. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate, is type rated in several aircraft, and is a Certified Flight Instructor with more than 3,500 hours of flight experience.
Chad received a Bachelor of Science degree in Commercial Aviation from the University of North Dakota and a Master of Business Administration from Wichita State University.
