The Airports Council International - North America issued the following news release:
Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA) President Greg Principato issued the following statement in response to the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) announcement regarding the expansion of the PreCheck expedited screening initiative to 28 airports in 2012.
"ACI-NA supports the ongoing rollout of PreCheck, TSA's risk-based known traveler program. We believe CBP's Global Entry program provides a secure and readily available method to significantly increase the population of eligible PreCheck participants. ACI-NA and its member airports will continue to support TSA in the expansion of the PreCheck program."
