The Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA) announces the debut of new, nonstop service from Bradley International Airport to Miami on low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines.

“We’re delighted to expand our service in Hartford to four routes with the addition of new non-stop flights to Miami,” said Daniel Shurz, Senior Vice President of Commercial for Frontier Airlines. “Hartford residents have welcomed our low fares and friendly flying experience and we look forward to continuing our outstanding relationship with the airport and community.”

“We very much welcome Frontier Airlines’ expansion at Bradley International Airport and the addition of their nonstop service to Miami,” said Kevin A. Dillon, A.A.E, Executive Director of the Connecticut Airport Authority. “Their footprint has been growing exponentially at Bradley over the last four months and now includes four nonstops to popular destinations. We’re pleased to offer our passengers this additional travel option along with the high level of customer service that Frontier offers its customers. We look forward to our ongoing partnership with Frontier Airlines and the conveniences their low-cost model is bringing to our passengers.”

The service to Miami will commence on November 14, on an A320 Neo aircraft. It will be a seasonal flight and will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Frontier Airlines currently operates flights to Denver, Orlando and Raleigh-Durham out of Bradley International Airport. The nonstop flight to Denver launched in March and operates year-round. The Orlando and Raleigh-Durham nonstop services launched in May and operate seasonally.
