Qatar Airways announces that its award-winning Business Class experience, Qsuite, is now available on flights to and from Los Angeles, bringing a new level of luxury and comfort to the West Coast gateway. The innovative Business Class experience debuted on routes sub-daily between Los Angeles and Doha on February 2, 2019, and will operate daily starting February 28, 2019.
The launch of Qsuite on the Los Angeles route marked the “City of Angels” as the sixth gateway in the U.S. to operate this “First in Business Class” product, with operations currently on flights from New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Washington, D.C.’s Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), and most recently, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).

Qsuite, a patented Qatar Airways product, is already fast collecting awards for bringing a First Class experience to the Business Class cabin. Qsuite features the industry’s first-ever double bed in Business Class, as well as privacy panels that stow away, allowing passengers in adjoining seats to create their own private room, a first of its kind in the industry. Qatar Airways proudly launched Qsuite at ITB Berlin in March 2017 to outstanding global acclaim, and has set a new standard for luxury travel with this innovative product.
Qsuite is currently available on select Qatar Airways’ Boeing 777-300ER, Airbus A350-900 and A350-1000 aircraft. The expansion to Los Angeles follows the introduction of the product to various destinations around the globe, including London, Paris, Canberra and Shanghai.
Recently celebrating its three-year anniversary, Qatar Airways first launched non-stop service from Los Angeles in January 2016, representing the airline’s first passenger service to the West Coast of the U.S.
The multiple award-winning airline, Qatar Airways was named ‘World’s Best Business Class’ by the 2018 World Airline Awards, managed by international air transport rating organization Skytrax. It was also named ‘Best Business Class Seat’, “Best Airline in the Middle East’, and ‘World’s Best First Class Airline Lounge’.
