Suspicious Bag Halts Flights at Stockholm Airport
A terminal at Stockholm's Arlanda Airport was closed for about three hours on Monday morning after a suspicious bag was discovered.
Security guards had seized a bag, not knowing whether its contents were potentially dangerous. Around 11:30 am ( 0930 GMT), the police announced on their website that the bag was not dangerous.
Because the airport's entire air traffic is currently being handled through this terminal due to the pandemic, no flights were able to take off in the morning.
Airport operator Swedavia asked travellers to contact their airline.
