Two in Critical Condition After Central Florida Parachute Accident

Two men were in critical condition after a parachute accident in Brevard County.

Titusville Police report the two adults were tandem skydiving after taking off from Dunn Airport, but the parachute experienced a malfunction, according to a preliminary investigation.

Space Coast Skydive Center operates from the airport.

The two fell from the sky and struck a tree in the front yard of a Titusville home on Tennessee Street at around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to police.

Brevard County Fire Rescue and Titusville Fire Department crews responded to the call. Both men were transported by helicopter to an area hospital. No other injuries were reported.

The incident remains under investigation.
