Oct. 10—The Jack Barstow Municipal Airport has announced the return of the Touch and Glow 5K Run and Prop Trot on Friday, Oct. 27.

Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with the Prop Trot, a fun-run for kids ages 12 and under. After the run, kids are invited to stay and enjoy Props and Treats, a trick-or-treating event sponsored by the Experimental Aircraft Association.

At 7 p.m., staff lights up the runways for the Touch and Glow 5K. Costumes and glow swag are encouraged. The 5K race will be chip timed by Miller Race Management. Each registrant will receive custom aviator sunglasses and a medal for participating. Cost is $45 per runner with event proceeds going to support future airport improvements. Sawadee and Kona Ice food trucks will be on hand with items for purchase.
