Amid COVID-19, Sea-Tac Airport Boosts Safety Measures to Lure Travelers Back

Officials at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport are increasing safety measures at the facility in order to bring travelers back.

SEATAC, Wash. — Officials at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport are increasing safety measures at the facility in order to bring travelers back.

"At the end of the day, no one should fly if they're sick," said Ryan Calkins, a commissioner at the Port of Seattle, which manages the airport. "It's still utterly essential that we do this education and encouragement work to change the paradigm around flying."
