Out with the Old, In with the New
As 2016 comes to a close, it’s really amazing to look back at the year and the route we traveled.
The very first week I took over at Airport Business in January, we saw the east coast shut down from the Snowpocalypse. Then, the battle for ATC privatization kicked off. Shortly after that, security lines ground to a halt, followed by commercial flights from the U.S. landing in Cuba for the first time since the Kennedy Administration.
And now we have a new presidential administration coming in that has vowed to spend $1 trillion (as of press time) on transportation projects in the U.S.
Airport Business is evolving along with the industry to keep you informed about the industry and what you need to know to build success today and tomorrow. You’ve seen plenty of changes with the magazine and our newsletters throughout the year to meet those needs. This year we’ve seen traffic from the daily newsletter jump 54 percent, which drove a 152 percent traffic increase to the AviationPros website.
