BRIEF: Heico Subsidiary Acquires Aviation Parts Company

Seal Dynamics LLC, has completed the acquisition of California-based Quest Aviation Supply.

June 17--A subsidiary of niche technology company Heico Corp., Seal Dynamics LLC, has completed the acquisition of California-based Quest Aviation Supply.

Heico, with headquarters in Hollywood and Miami, announced the purchase Monday but did not disclose financial details. The company, which manufactures replacement parts for airplanes as well as components for the space, defense, communications, medical and computer industries, said it expects the purchase to be accretive to its earnings within the first year after the deal closes.

Quest supplies parts to repair thrust reversers on certain aircraft engines. The company's products and employees will join Seal Dynamics.
