Lufthansa Technik has recently announced a long-term support agreement with Uzbekistan Airways covering component support services through 2035.

Part of Uzbekistan Airways’ plans for modernization and expansion, the new agreement designates Lufthansa Technik to offer component pool support and supply services for Airbus A320ceo/neo and Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

Key goals of the new agreement include:

• Improving access to spare parts
• Maintaining high reliability in operations
• Ensuring aircraft availability across the network

The two aviation companies have collaborated for more than 30 years already, with Lufthansa Technik providing support like:

• Technical expertise
• Fleet and operational requirements
• Service optimization and safety

Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways Shukhrat Khudaykulov said, “Over the past three decades, Lufthansa Technik has proven to be a reliable and trusted partner for Uzbekistan Airways.”

Khudaykulov continued, “As demand for air travel continues to grow and Uzbekistan further expands its role as an aviation hub in Central Asia, this agreement provides important support for our fleet modernization and expansion plans.”
