AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings has announced a new facility for color blending and distribution to be opened in Dubai in Q2 of 2026.

Opening a facility at this location helps expand AkzoNobel’s reach to provide locally stocked and blended coatings customized for clients in the Middle East, such as:

  • MROs
  • OEMs
  • Commercial aviation operators
  • Industry partners

The company plans to implement automated and precision control processes for color blending at the new facility, allowing for reliable and repeatable accuracy in colors. AkzoNobel plans to blend several colors at the new Dubai facility, like:

  • Aerobase
  • Aerodur 3001
  • Eclipse colors

This facility also aims to streamline access to:

  • Primers
  • Thinners
  • Topcoats

EMEA Sales Director, AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings Xavier Rijmenans says, “We work closely with established partners in the Middle East who rely on our trusted solutions.”

Rijmenans adds, “By expanding our color blending and distribution capabilities, we are not only reducing lead times but also strengthening regional support—helping customers to scale their operations and respond to increasing demand in the region.”

“With a model already proven across Asia, Europe and North America, customers across the region will benefit from enhanced access to locally blended, high-quality coatings,” noted Rijmenans.

AkzoNobel is present at MRO Middle East 2026 from February 4-5. Interested attendees can visit the team at Booth 1620 to learn about the benefits of the new Dubai facility and local color blending, such as:
