Beyond The Powder Accepted into the 2017 Chagrin Doc Film Fest
The documentary film Beyond The Powder has been formally accepted into the 2017 Chagrin Documentary Film Festival. The festival will be held in the town of Chagrin Falls, Ohio October 4-8, 2017.
The Emmy award nominated Beyond The Powder is the story of the 1929 Women's Cross Country Air Derby, and of the women who still race today. Distributed by American Public Television (APT), Beyond The Powder has enjoyed airing on public broadcasting stations throughout most of the U.S.
Beyond The Powder will have two festival screenings:

The Chagrin Documentary Film Festival is dedicated to educating audiences and empowering talented filmmakers to tell their stories. The Festival is a five day celebration of the art of documentary film, at venues in and around the century village of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. This inspiring event draws audiences from all over Northeast Ohio, the US and the world to experience documentary films and the compelling art and culture they highlight.
Hemlock Films produced the film Beyond The Powder. NE Ohio-basedHemlock Films is a multi-Emmy winning film production company, specializing in aviation history. The filmmakers from Hemlock, Kara Martinelli and Adam White, will be on-hand at the Beyond The Powderfestival screenings.
