Eve Air Mobility Celebrates 50 Successful Test Flights for eVTOL Aircraft
Eve Air Mobility (Eve) has announced the completion of the 50th test flight using its full-scale engineering prototype of its eVTOL aircraft designed to further advanced air mobility (AAM).
The aircraft completed its first test flight in December 2025 and has since helped Eve Air Mobility to evaluate performance and systems behavior in pursuit of certification.
Now, Eve is evaluating different flight envelopes so the aircraft can hopefully fully complete full flights later in 2026. This includes increasing the forward speed gradually and researching:
- Energy management
- Controllability
- Stability
- Noise
- Vibration
Having used the Embraer methodology for product development, Eve has informed its aircraft development efforts with insights on solutions critical for urban aviation. This includes solutions for:
- Air navigation providers
- Operators
- Cities
- Vertiports
Eve now aims to start producing confirming prototypes in 2026, with plans to use six of them for a certification flight test campaign with Brazil’s ANAC.
Eve Air Mobility CEO Johann Bordais said, “Reaching 50 successful test flights with our engineering prototype is more than a technical milestone.”
Bordais continued, “It is clear evidence of the maturity of our program and the strength of the solutions we are building.”
“Eve is uniquely positioned to deliver not only a high‑performance eVTOL aircraft but also aftermarket services, operational and airspace solutions that customers and cities will require to deploy urban air mobility at scale,” added Bordais.
