Duncan Aviation Refurbishes Exterior and Interior of CL-350

Duncan Aviation recently completed the complete refurbishment of a CL-350 aircraft at its Provo, Utah, facility.

The Duncan Aviation team refreshed the entire interior and stripped and repainted the aircraft’s exterior with custom designs.   

What was done on the exterior?

To plan for the exterior refurbishment, Duncan Aviation consulted with the owner of the C-350 aircraft, who wanted a statement piece with a color scheme based on his Falcon.

Elements of the exterior refurbishment include:

• White pearl base coat across fuselage
• Darker paint elements on the tail
• Striping accents across length of aircraft
• Swooping design on engines
• White and blue stripes on the top and bottom of the wings

“This exterior is the opposite of ordinary,” said Duncan Aviation Senior Lead Designer Molly Pfeiffer, “The colors and flow of the scheme fit beautifully on the body of the aircraft, giving it a fast, showpiece quality that reflects the owner’s vision.” 

How did Duncan Aviation update the interior?

Aside from preserving the aircraft’s original woodwork, Duncan Aviation’s Design team also completed a full interior refurbishment.

One of the most significant upgrades included seating, which involved adding elements to the seats like:

• Two-tone leather
• Black French stitching
• Perforated inserts
• Dark leather accents on armrests and headrests
• Single-tone leather divan with black contrast stitching

The Duncan Aviation team also added a custom black-and-white carpet which they tip-sheared to create a pattern along the cabin.   

“The client wanted a cabin that felt current and refined,” Pfeiffer said, “The two-tone seating, custom stitching, and unique carpet design achieved exactly that—creating an interior that is visually striking while maintaining a clean, cohesive look.”
