8tree’s dentCHECK tool has been selected for deployment by Squadron 435 of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), based at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Winnipeg.

The unit is using dentCHECK to support aircraft damage assessment initiatives on its CC130H Hercules fleet.

“We are excited to support Squadron 435 on their mission to maintain their CC130H Hercules fleet at peak operational performance,” said Arun Chhabra, CEO of 8tree.

Chhabra continued, “This deployment underscores the value that dentCHECK brings to the defense sector, offering fast, reliable and portable dent measurement technology that can be used in diverse and challenging environments, such as the ones faced by our military operators.”

Squadron 435 will use dentCHECK as part of an initial trial with potential for wider adoption across the RCAF’s fleet. The integration of digital dent mapping is expected to streamline their aircraft surface inspection process, enhancing the speed and accuracy of repairs, ensuring the aircraft are always mission ready.

dentCHECK is being used to streamline surface inspection processes. The goal is to achieve more precise and repeatable measurements that enhance maintenance efficiency while ensuring alignment with airworthiness standards.

dentCHECK’s ability to deliver SRM-compliant digital damage reports within minutes, without surface prep or complex calibration, makes it a strong fit for military environments that demand speed and portability.
