Grieve 986 vertical airflow oven

No. 986 is an electrically-heated, 500 F vertical airflow walk-in oven from Grieve, currently used for curing composite parts at the customer™s facility. Workspace dimensions measure 30 inches wide x 24 inches deep x 144 inches high. 30KW are installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular elements to heat the unit, while a 4200 CFM, 3-HP recirculating blower motor provides combination airflow to the workload. This walk-in oven features 4-inch thick insulated walls, aluminized steel exterior, and Type 304, 2B stainless-steel interior. he floor of the workspace is reinforced to accommodate 200-pound loads. An 8-inch x 10-inch double-pane Pyrex window for load inspection and an interior oven light are also onboard. All safety equipment required for handling flammable solvents, including explosion-venting door hardware, are included on this unit. It is built to JIC/NEMA 12 electrical standards. Controls include a digital programming temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, and recirculating blower airflow safety switch.
