Reelcraft Industries unveils its new hybrid reel, "ReelTek." Design includes a base and arm made from industrial-grade steel, a spool constructed of lightweight, engineered composite components and an industrial-grade swivel making it perfect for light industrial applications. The unit's composite-material spool permanently contains an industrial grade drive spring that protects it from the environment, providing for safe and simple maintenance. Steel parts are individually powder-coated making them as corrosion-resistant as the composite materials. The latch mechanism of ReelTek is mounted on the arm, rather than on the base, making quick-change adjustments easier and assuring the hose will always retract onto the reel, even when fully extended.
