AISATS Invests in Automated Aircraft Cleaning Machine

According reports, the Nordic Dino II -- a computerized, automated system -- was able to clean one of Air India's A320 aircraft in one fourth of the time normally taken to clean a similar narrow-body plane.

Air India SATS (AISATS) Airport Services is introducing an automated aircraft exterior cleaning at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) in New Delhi.

According to a report by Outlook India, the Nordic Dino II -- a computerized, automated system -- was able to clean one of Air India's A320 aircraft in one fourth of the time normally taken to clean a similar narrow-body plane.

The Outlook India report stated conventional cleaning methods require a minimum of five to six hours, however, the automated process, can do the job in two hours.
