The handheld shear quickly cuts fiber-cement siding and backer board up to 5/8” thick using a shearing action that leaves behind virtually no airborne dust.

The KD-1495 features a powerful 5 amp pistol grip, 2500 RPM variable-speed electric motor that easily cuts through fiber-cement board (up to 5/8" thick), cement siding or backer board – all at speeds of up to 26 inches per minute. The tool is lightweight at 4.5 pounds, and has a cutting radius of 10 inches for maximum maneuverability. The rugged shear blades are precision made in the U.S. featuring A2 tool steel blades for prolonged durability, and are quickly replaced to reduce downtime on the job.
