Sept. 17, 2020

Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings announced it has earned a spot in the Boeing Premier Bidder Program. The program recognizes and rewards consistently high performing Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) suppliers and gives them an opportunity to increase their business with Boeing.

Sherwin-Williams makes exterior coatings that deliver custom solutions for commercial aircraft, including a full range of specialized livery color options for a durable finish. Its products and systems undergo stringent testing to demonstrate they will deliver a lasting protective coating for any aircraft in a commercial fleet and has earned numerous AMS 3095 certification approvals.

Its interior cabin coatings systems are designed to provide a smooth, textured or soft feel finish. These are compatible on a variety of plastic, metal and composite surfaces within the aircraft cabin interior and cockpit, and meet the stringent aircraft flammability requirements, FAR/JAR 25.853 regulations for burn, smoke, and heat release.

“Today’s aviation coatings specifiers and painters ask Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings to provide quality coating systems and technical support to the global commercial, military, general and business aviation markets,” says Pete Willman, Sherwin-Williams global sales manager for Aerospace Coatings. “Sherwin-Williams is an industry leader in innovation and technology solutions with its certified products, top-rated service and knowledgeable team of field technicians.”
