WARTER Aviation Becomes Technical Partner for the Red Bull Air Race 2017 Season

This year around WARTER aviation is also proudly supporting Fracois Le Vot Team for Master Class Cup and Luke Czepiela for Challenger Cup.
François Le Vot is a decorated former French Air Force fighter pilot who has claimed aerobatics titles on the world, European and national levels. The French ace will go down in Red Bull Air Race history as the victor of the first three races of the inaugural Challenger Class season (2014), and with one Master Class podium already to his credit, he's on the hunt for more.
Luke Czepiela is an accomplished Polish aerobatics pilot who has enjoyed the view from his national podium and twice represented his country at the World Unlimited Aerobatic Championships. In 2016 he stood on the podium at every Red Bull Air Race stop he flew except one – and even in that exception he delivered the best time in Qualifying.
The Red Bull Air Race World Championship is an official World Championship, accredited by the FAI – the World Air Sports Federation.
Since it was officially launched, the Red Bull Air Race World Championship has become globally renowned as the ultimate and most exhilarating motorsport in the sky. The standardized propulsion package – a high-performance, race-tuned standardized engine and standardized propellers – remains for 2016.
Fourteen pilots are competing in the Master Class category in eight races across the globe for the title of 2016 Red Bull Air Race World Champion. The objective is to navigate an aerial racetrack featuring airfilled pylons in the fastest possible time, incurring as few penalties as possible. Championship points at each race and the pilot with the most points after the last race of the season becomes the Red Bull Air Race World Champion.
The Challenger Cup takes on speed for 2017. The Challenger Cup offers a new generation of talented pilots from around the world a chance to experience the thrills of the sport. Eight outstanding pilots all from different nations will be racing for Challenger Cup points. The twin aims of the Challenger Cup are to give new pilots the chance to develop their low-altitude flying skills under racing conditions and thus further enhance the overall safety of the ultimate motorsport series in the sky.
