Alaska Airmen Association Raffle Plane Builder Announced

The raffle plane will be auctioned via raffle at the 2016 Alaska Airmen Association Great Alaskan Aviation Gathering the afternoon of May 1, 2016.

Talkeetna, Alaska, September 4, 2015 – The Alaska Airmen Association has announced the winning bid for its 2016 raffle plane. This year’s raffle plane will be built by Above Alaska Aviation of Talkeetna, Alaska.

“Above Alaska Aviation is proud to partner with the Alaska Airmen Association to build a completely refurbished PA-18 Piper Super Cub,” said Above Alaska Aviation owner Drew Haag. The raffle plane will be auctioned via raffle at the 2016 Alaska Airmen Association Great Alaskan Aviation Gathering the afternoon of May 1, 2016.

The Alaska Airmen Association is the largest state general aviation group in Alaska. They are a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 whose goal is to promote aviation, enhance safety and support initiatives that benefit pilots and our growing aviation community.
