NSL Aerospace is pleased to announce the expansion of its procurement capabilities, which enables it to provide a broader range of replacement parts and aircraft repair materials to customers. As part of the expansion, two seasoned aviation sales professionals have joined the NSL team.

For over 30 years, we have been dedicated to providing our customers with the products, solutions and services they need, when they need them,” said Jim Carney, NSL President. “We’re bringing the same dedication and expertise to our growth initiative, as we increase the range of products we can provide to customers.”
As part of this growth, NSL has expanded its capabilities beyond sealants to offer a range of replacement expendables and parts. In addition to sealants, NSL can now procure a wide variety of aviation materials such as other chemicals, components, metal/sheeting, rotables and tools, as well as hard-to-source parts. Along with the product growth, the company has enhanced its sales team with the addition of Edward Chiao and Peter Pi. Both gentlemen are based in the Los Angeles area and have extensive experience in the sales of aviation parts, materials and chemicals to airlines, other end-users, MROs and subcontractors worldwide.
In his position as Sales Director – Parts, Pi, whose previous experience includes eight years with Unical Aviation, Inc., is primarily responsible for selling and sourcing the most sought-after replacement parts to current customers as well as expanding the company’s international clientele. Pi moved up through the sales ranks at Unical to become Regional Manager, Asia Pacific. During his tenure, he helped grow the company’s sales of Raw Materials and Chemicals from zero to $15 million in five years.
Chiao began his career in aviation overseeing an inventory of aviation repair materials for a small aerospace company. Realizing the significant impact this market segment had on keeping aircraft in service, Chiao joined Unical Aviation, Inc. where he was in charge of the Raw Materials/Chemicals Department. He oversaw five sales associates and managed the company’s worldwide sales to over 4,000 customers. In his role as NSL’s Sales Director – Chemicals, Chiao is responsible for expanding the products NSL offers clients as well as expanding the company’s customer base.
