Eurowings Announces Flights from Düsseldorf to Las Vegas

Sept. 19, 2018

Beginning July 3, Eurowings will connect Las Vegas to Düsseldorf - the capital of the German federal state North Rhine-Westphalia. A long-haul Airbus A330 or A340 will take off for Las Vegas on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays - the return flight from Las Vegas will land in Düsseldorf on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

With the new Las Vegas destination, Eurowings is expanding its long-haul service at Düsseldorf Airport (DUS). Currently, Düsseldorf-area passengers can travel with Eurowings to long-haul destinations in the U.S, such as New York, Fort Myers and Miami, as well as other locales including Cancun (Mexico) and Punta Cana (Dominican Republic). To continue its growth, the airline is positioning a total of seven long-haul aircraft in Düsseldorf with the start of the 2018/19 winter flight schedule. In addition to its vast range of short- and medium-haul routes, the airline is planning up to 140 long-haul departures per month to attractive destinations in America and the Caribbean. With this, Düsseldorf is Eurowings’ main location, as well as the largest long-haul base for the airline.

"We are delighted to be able to further expand our long-haul destinations from Düsseldorf with Las Vegas. Our customers in Germany's most populous region, with over 18 million inhabitants, thus benefit from an attractive range of direct connections," said Oliver Wagner, managing director and chief commercial officer of Eurowings.
