AviationManuals Releases New Change Management Form for its ARC SMS Software and App

Sept. 6, 2018
The new online change form helps analyze the risks that accompany a substantial change within the department and describes in detail what actions need to be taken in order to implement that change.

Washington, D.C. and San Jose, CA, [September 6, 2018] – In response to a growing need for better change management control within flight departments, AviationManuals, the leading provider of aircraft manual development services and Safety Management System (SMS) software for business aviation, announced today at the NBAA Regional Forum in San Jose, CA, the release of an online change management form for its ARC Safety Management Software and App.

The form provides a streamlined and improved way to formally manage change within an organization. It helps analyze the risks that accompany a substantial change within the department and describes in detail what actions need to be taken in order to implement that change.  The form establishes appropriate tasks and then enables designated administrators to assign each task to the right individuals. It thus offers the ability for robust checks-and-balances, whereby each task can be reviewed, reassigned and revaluated as many times as the project manager deems necessary, ensuring all aspects of a task’s progress are monitored.

“Any kind of substantial change; a new Director of Aviation, moving to new hangars, adding aircraft to fleet, or the implementation of an aircraft tug for instance, can introduce risk. Flight departments need an efficient way to manage such changes on their own while also ensuring safety is considered before, during and after implementation,” said AviationManuals CEO Mark Baier. “By listening to the specific needs of our ARC SMS customers, we created this new form that easily guides you through the process of identifying, planning for and then managing the potential implications of change.”

CEO Mark Baier, along with others from AviationManuals, will be available for interviews at the NBAA San Jose Regional Forum, September 6 at booth 403; and at BACE 2018, October 16-19 in Orlando, FL, at booth 2256.
