Gulfstream Names Sheryl Bunton Chief Information Officer

SAVANNAH, Georgia, September 17, 2015 — Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. today announced that Sheryl Bunton has been named the company’s chief information officer (CIO). Bunton reports to Dan Clare, chief financial officer, Gulfstream.

Bunton is responsible for establishing and leading the delivery of technology solutions and strategies across the enterprise.

“Sheryl brings a tremendous amount of professional, industry and leadership experience to the CIO position,” said Clare. “Her international background and ability to lead a worldwide information technology organization are critical as we continue to enhance our IT resources.”

Prior to joining Gulfstream, Bunton served as worldwide CIO for AGCO Corp., where she was responsible for managing more than 500 applications and a complex SAP environment. Bunton also worked as the CIO for Southwire Company, a leading manufacturer of wire and cable, and as a general manager for MYTecSoft Inc., an SAP consulting firm.

Bunton also has experience in the financial industry, having worked for more than a decade for then-AT&T Capital Corp., where she started as a sales representative and worked in positions of increasing responsibility until becoming senior vice president for the industrial finance business unit.

Bunton earned a business degree from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and an Executive Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the AT&T School of Business in partnership with the Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia.
