Baldwin Aviation will offer ACSF members and ASAP participants an alternative to the web-based application tool (WBAT) program.

Washington, DC, October 28, 2016 — The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) and Baldwin Aviation have been working together to offer the charter and business aviation industry an Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) that allows customers to combine the FAA/ACSF ASAP Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Baldwin Aviation’s data technology. Both ACSF and Baldwin Aviation are pleased to announce they have reached an agreement in principle.

In the near future, Baldwin Aviation will offer ACSF members and ASAP participants an alternative to the web-based application tool (WBAT) program. ACSF members will have the option of signing-up with Baldwin Aviation to access their technology.

“The goal is to provide end users with one-stop shopping by combining their overall safety management system with an ACSF-ASAP program,” said ACSF president Bryan Burns. “It is through a cooperative effort and shared mission of safety, that the ACSF and Baldwin Aviation have been able to bring this program to the marketplace through a single data source. Both entities believe this will be a win-win relationship for the charter and business aviation community, as we work together to reduce operational risk and redundant workload associated with multiple databases,” noted Burns.

“Baldwin Aviation is excited to cooperate with the ACSF on their ASAP program,” said Baldwin Aviation president Don Baldwin. “We are happy to offer the marketplace the ability to participate in ASAP all within the Baldwin SMS software application. This will represent a significant decrease in both time and cost for each participating charter & business aviation operator, without compromising their respective data and reports,” noted Baldwin.
