Simi Valley, California - It is my pleasure to announce that Mr. Tom Henry has joined TAS as Vice President Business Development. Mr. Henry joins us from Kalitta Air where for the last seven years he was the Senior Manager of Cargo Services Worldwide. With 27 years of experience in the aviation industry, he has held key positions in both airport and airline station operations. He also knows how to set up operations from scratch having been to Iraq twice and Afghanistan five times, setting up cargo operations for Kalitta in those countries.
Mr. Henry knows the cargo services business from the ground up having started as an operations manager and loadmaster before moving on to various carriers handling cargo. He has worked for Atlas Air / Polar Air Cargo at various locations throughout the U.S. and ABX Air based in Wilmington Ohio and also Austin, Texas. In these positions he dealt directly with issues related to weight & balance and Dangerous Goods cargo.
Tom attended The Ohio State University, and also served in the Ohio Air National Guard for 11 years. Tom is a native of Wilmington, Ohio.
Mr. Henry is a welcome addition to the TAS staff as we continue to grow and secure our position in the aviation service industry.
