BASF Launches New Aerospace Website

FLORHAM PARK, NJ, October 4, 2011– BASF’s newly formed Aerospace Market Focus Team has launched a website, www.aerospace.basf.com in support of its business development activities. The Aerospace market Focus Team was formed in January 2011 by BASF Corporation and tasked with delivering solutions to the industry. This market is driven by materials innovation, which fits well with BASF’s broad portfolio of products, as well as its R&D and innovation platforms.

The new website provides customers with easy access to the company’s broad portfolio of products and solutions currently available to the aerospace industry and also encourages customers to reach out to BASF as a development partner. The website organizes BASF’s product portfolio, which features 35 technology areas and more than 50 existing products presented in a customer friendly manner by industry segments. The industry segments are cabin interiors, structural materials, seating components, coatings & specialty pigments, flame retardants, fuel & lubricant solutions and other innovations.
