Gulfstream Conducts Successful Operators Forums in Moscow and Beijing
SAVANNAH, Ga., October 4, 2011 — Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. recently completed two successful back-to-back international operators forums, one in conjunction with Jet Expo 2011 in Moscow and another in Beijing. A third is scheduled for later this year in conjunction with the Dubai International Air Show.
The forums provide operators with updates on maintenance and operations, including fleet status, maintenance management, technical training and pending technical bulletins. In addition, the company reviews its fleet support services to ensure operators continue leveraging all available support offerings.
Gulfstream’s major regional and national supplier partners participate in the meetings, which include an open floor question-and-answer period. The company provides translators for international forums.
“These forums are one of many ways we communicate with our customers around the world,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream Product Support. “Seeing our operators face-to-face allows us to strengthen the relationships we have with them. It’s also an opportunity for us to exchange information with our operators. We learn just as much from these forums as our operators do.” Gulfstream has conducted 14 forums this year, with additional events scheduled for Oct. 11 in conjunction with the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Convention & Meeting in Las Vegas; Oct. 26 in Washington, D.C., and Charlotte, N.C.; and Nov. 14 in Dubai.
