Signature Flight Support's Customer Support Loyalty Program, Signature Status Adds New Value-added MRO Benefits and Services From Ontic
Signature Flight Support Corporation has expanded benefits again for its customer loyalty program, Signature Status®. Signature Status® rewards customers based on the frequency of visits to Signature locations and is not dependent on fuel uplift volumes or purchases at its U.S. FBOs. From silver status to platinum, customers receive value-added services depending on their status level at reduced or even no cost and priority for services such as guaranteed crew cars, preferred ramp parking and hangar availability.
New benefits include services from Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing, Inc., also a BBA Aviation plc company. MRO services available through the program are: free aircraft component evaluation, free return shipment on component repair or overhaul and free phone technical support. As an incentive for members to commit their aircraft components to Ontic Engineering early, members can receive 1,000 gallons of Jet-A, redeemable at any of Signature’s U.S. locations, a benefit only available through Signature Status®.
Ontic acquires manufacturing licenses from OEMs for legacy products. Components serviced or manufactured range from actuators, electronics and avionics, pneumatics, APUs, landing gears, fluid pumps, radar assemblies and oxygen systems.
Peg Billson, President of BBA Aviation’s Ontic commented, “We are happy to offer the newly added Signature Status® benefits from Ontic bringing another level of value added services to members. Along with Dallas Airmotive’s offerings, these new benefits cover a wide range of components, engines and aircraft types and offer significant savings to Signature Status® members.”
At NBAA 2010, Signature announced program benefits from Dallas Airmotive that included complimentary engine trend monitoring and engine field service. Also offered, 1,000 gallons of Jet-A for customers who commit to having their engines serviced by Dallas Airmotive six months early.
S. Michael Scheeringa stated, “By adding services from our sister company, Ontic, BBA Aviation is leveraging its portfolio of services available to our customers. Being able to service aircraft from customized fueling programs and handling, engine repair and overhaul, and now component repair and manufacturing, our customers have a compelling suite of services to choose from. Tying it together with Signature Status® membership brings both convenience and cost savings to flight departments and aircraft owners.”
