Jet Aviation Names John Langevin Vice President and General Manager, FBO Operations, North America

In his new role as vice president and general manager, FBO operations, Langevin will oversee all of Jet Aviation's U.S. FBOs: Teterboro, NJ; Boston/Bedford, MA; Palm Beach, FL; St. Louis, MO; and Dallas, TX.

Zurich / Switzerland, October 07, 2011 – In his new role as vice president and general manager, FBO operations, Langevin will oversee all of Jet Aviation’s U.S. FBOs: Teterboro, N.J.; Boston/Bedford, Mass.; Palm Beach, Fla.; St. Louis, Mo. and Dallas, Texas.

To increase focus on consistent service delivery, hospitality, safety and security at its U.S. FBOs, Jet Aviation has appointed John Langevin vice president and general manager, FBO operations, North America. Previously, Langevin managed the FBOs and MRO operations at Teterboro and Boston/Bedford.

“With more than 30 years of experience, John is the ideal candidate to lead our U.S. FBOs,” said Gary Dempsey, president, U.S. aircraft services. “We want to guarantee our customers receive Jet Aviation’s high standard of service across our entire FBO network. John will ensure that clients experience the best that Jet Aviation has to offer, no matter which FBO they visit.”

Langevin has a long history of excellent performance at Jet Aviation. He joined the company in 1981 and worked as supervisor for vehicle maintenance and safety for more than 10 years. In 1999, he was promoted to manager of line services and training and became the director of FBO services in 2003. In 2005 he was appointed general manager of Jet Aviation Teterboro, responsible for FBO and maintenance services. Prior to starting his career in aviation, he served in the United States Coast Guard.
