Jet Aviation London Biggin Hill has leased a new Executive Terminal to accommodate the anticipated surge of visitors, including many heads of state.

London, England / October 11, 2011 – Jet Aviation London Biggin Hill recently signed a lease for a new Executive Terminal in preparation for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games to be held in London from July 27 through August 12, 2012.

With London airspace expecting up to 1,300 daily helicopter flights and an additional 1,800 airline flights and 2,500 private aircraft throughout the Olympic Games, Jet Aviation London Biggin Hill has leased a new Executive Terminal to accommodate the anticipated surge of visitors, including many heads of state.

Jet Aviation will offer a comprehensive and competitive range of FBO services, along with heated hangars, fueling and aircraft cleaning. The newly refurbished, modernized and dedicated FBO facility at London Biggin Hill Airport, features showers, changing and “snooze” rooms, flight planning areas, wireless internet and pilot amenities. The company will provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, aircraft repair, defect rectifications and 24/7 AOG support.

London Biggin Hill Airport is the closest business aviation airport to the Olympic Park and boasts extensive aircraft parking capacity. Vehicle parking is available in a secure, well-lit and regularly patrolled car park adjacent to the Terminal.

Jet Aviation's London Biggin Hill operation is the most convenient gateway to and from the country's capitol, located just 12 miles (20 km) from central London. The facility provides FBO services, maintenance, avionics installations, refurbishment and exterior painting. The operation consists of two hangars totaling 5,188 square meters (55,830 square feet) and is an EASA part 145 (#EASA 145.00788) approved maintenance organization as well as an authorized service center for Embraer for the Embraer Legacy and Dassault for the Falcon 900 series. The facility provides airframe maintenance to Falcons, Gulfstreams 400, 500 and 550, the Raytheon Hawker series, the Citations 550 & 560 series and to Bombardier Canadair Challenger 601 and 604 as well as Global Express.
