Georgetown, DE (October 26, 2011) – PATS Aircraft Systems is pleased to announce that a previous order for 10 B737-900ER auxiliary fuel systems (AFS) will be installed on Turkish Airlines aircraft.

Following the delivery in Seattle, the first two Turkish Airlines aircraft have inducted at the PATS’ facility in Georgetown, Delaware for installation of the AFS. The AFS will be delivered in a 2-tank aft configuration, adding an additional 962 gallons of fuel and extending the range of the aircraft up to 450nm. As with all PATS Auxiliary Fuel Systems, the installed auxiliary fuel system feeds the aircraft’s integral fuel tanks and operates independently, allowing the system to be active or inactive based upon mission requirements.

PATS’ Auxiliary Fuel Systems add an important option to aircraft owners and operators and are compatible with most aircraft operations including commercial passenger service, VIP/executive and special missions. PATS’ CEO, John Martin, adds, “We’re proud to count Turkish Airlines as a customer. We intend to support our product in their fleet with the highest level of customer service and product support. Turkish Airlines continues to provide a renowned level of service to their customers and we are extremely pleased to provide a product that helps to bolster that reputation.”

PATS Aircraft Systems is an industry leading supplier of Auxiliary Fuel Systems (AFS) applications, Aerospace Component Manufacturing (including the Hollingsead International product line) and VIP executive aircraft maintenance, modification and executive interior completions services.
