People News: Barfield Appoints Bontorno National Sales Manager

Miami, FL-based Barfield announces the appointment of Victor Bontorno as National Sales Manager for ground support test equipment. Bontorno, who recently moved from New Jersey to assume his position with the 60-year-old aviation company, has many years of sales experience. His skills will undoubtedly lead to the implementation of significant innovations at Barfield.

A PAMA member since 2001, Bontorno's longtime passion for aircraft led him to the aviation industry where he has expanded his knowledge while occupying positions at various companies. He worked for New Jersey-based FBO Ocean Aire Inc. (formerly Monmouth Aircraft Services) as a parts/materials manager. A few years later, he moved to AVSCO as an outside sales representative and was later appointed branch manager, a position he held for almost five years. Before coming to Barfield, Bontorno spent five years as a sales manager in the automotive industries.
