Rick Armstrong Named Vice President FlightSafety Simulation
LA GUARDIA AIRPORT, NEW YORK (April 3, 2007) – FlightSafety International is pleased to announce that Rick Armstrong has joined the company as Vice President, FlightSafety Simulation.

Armstrong joins FlightSafety from the NORDAM GROUP. During his 19 years with that company, he held a number of senior executive level positions including Vice President and General Manager of the company's Interiors and Structures and Transparency Divisions. He was most recently Vice President of Sales and Marketing and was the 2006 recipient of the NORDAM Chairman's Award for his many contributions to the company.
Rick graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, is a board member of the Tulsa Aerospace Alliance and Hillcrest Hospital and is a member of the Tulsa Chapter Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Derek Maeer, a highly respected member of FlightSafety's management team, will now report to Armstrong. Derek has helped to establish and maintain the company's position as the world's leading aviation training company.
