P&WC Enters Into FMP Maintenance Contract With Gulfstream

Designer and manufacturer of aircraft engines Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp (P&WC), a business unit of United Technologies Corp (NYSE:UTX), announced on Wednesday (23 May) that the company has signed a four-year Fleet Management Program (FMP) engine maintenance contract with Gulfstream International Airlines. The maintenance contract covers Gulfstream's fleet of PT6A-67D-powered Beech 1900D twin turboprop aircraft. PW&C said that under the contract the company will service 46 installed engines based on its Term Cost Plan (TCP), which offers support services selected from a range of options based on a guaranteed hourly fee, paid monthly. Financial details of the contract were not available.
