Wing Aviation Hires Chief Inspector
Wing Aviation announces that Keith Wright has joined their aircraft maintenance team. Wright’s duties as chief inspector include writing and reviewing inspection processes and procedures, overseeing the repair station’s inspectors and inspection program, ensuring that maintenance procedures are being followed and that the most current technical data is available and in use. He validates parts certification and traceability, ensures the tool calibration and certification process and manages the aircraft record review and historical document control to ensure that the repair station is in full compliance at all times with the FAA regulatory requirements.
A native Texan from Orange, Wright has worked in a wide variety of aircraft maintenance. His 32 years of maintenance, inspector, instructor and management experience encompasses both helicopter and fixed wing aircraft, large and small, for part 91, 135, 121 and public use operators, under both part 43 shops and 145 Repair Station rules and military manufacturing on the C-17.
After graduating from the Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, OK, as an aviation maintenance technician (AMT), he obtained his FAA airframe and power plant certificates (A&P), currently has his inspection authorization (IA), is qualified as a non-destructive testing inspector (NDT) in three disciplines and is certified as an ISO 9000 lead auditor. Wright, a private pilot himself, he has received numerous awards from the FAA in the AMT program, and is a former member of the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA). “We are thrilled to add such an experienced chief inspector to our organization,” says Brian P. Wing, president of Wing Aviation. “Keith’s industry knowledge sets him apart from others in his field and makes him a major asset to our team.”
