Boise, Idaho, March 11, 2008. AERO Specialties has signed distributor agreements with TLD and Unitron to distribute each manufacturer’s ground support equipment.

AERO’s agreement with TLD centers on exclusive U.S. general aviation distribution of TLD’s new GPU-4060-T-CUP 60KVA/400Hz diesel-powered GPU, which will become available Spring 2008. The GPU-4060-T-CUP is housed in a galvanized, compact torsion-axle/5th-wheel steer trailer featuring a Cummins QSB4.5, Tier 3-compliant engine, advanced digital controls, and an extremely quiet 85 decibel maximum noise output. The GPU-4060-T-CUP is available with optional 28.5V DC transformer rectifier. Pricing on the GPU-4060-T-CUP is very competitive, and AERO will maintain a stock of several units at its facility to ensure short or no lead times.

“We are extremely excited about this new TLD GPU,” said Matt Sheehan, president of AERO Specialties. “The TLD unit offers a very reasonably priced and unbeatable set of features to meet the growing need among FBO and corporate operators for both AC and DC ground power,” Sheehan added.

AERO’s distribution agreement with Unitron adds the premier solid-state ground power manufacturer’s products to its catalog. Unitron’s GFC Series PwrKarts offer the most sophisticated solid-state AC and DC power available today. AERO will offer units in various configurations from 15KVA up through 180KVA, each with optional 28.5v DC power. Short lead times and competitive pricing make Unitron products a good fit for AERO’s catalog.

“Unitron’s product line is simply the best,” said Sheehan. “We are thrilled to be able to offer Unitron ground power to our customers.”
