Aloha Airlines Will End All Flights and Stop Operations Monday
HONOLULU_Aloha Airlines has announced it will end all flights and stop operations on Monday.
That will be the last day for interisland and cross-Pacific flights.
The airline, which filed for bankruptcy protection last week, has already stopped selling tickets beyond Monday.
Aloha says it has canceled Monday's flights to the West Coast and flights from Orange County to Reno and Sacramento and from Oakland to Las Vegas on Monday.
Monday will be the last day for all other flights.
Passengers are being directed to United Airlines for mainland flights and Hawaiian Airlines for interislands service.
The shutdown will affect about 1,800 employees. The company says air cargo services are to continue.
