CAV Aerospace Exhibits at AirVenture
(July 24, 2008) Salina, Kan. – CAV Aerospace Inc. will be on exhibit at EAA’s AirVenture 2008 in Oshkosh, Wis. The company will be showing TKS™ installations on Bonanza A36, Cessna 400 and Columbia 400 aircraft models. CAV’s Exhibit at EAA will be in the main Aircraft Display area 109-111, next to Cessna Aircraft Company July 28-Aug. 3, 2008.
The Summer Savings Program from CAV Aerospace Inc. featuring TKS™ ice protection installations has been so successful that the company is nearly at capacity through September for after-market installations.
The promotion offered discounted ice protection system installations for selected aircraft models when the work was scheduled during summer months. CAV Aerospace even offered to top off these customers’ fuel tanks for the return flight to combat the high cost of avgas.
Pleasantly Surprised
“Normally the summer months are our slowest, but our Summer Savings Program targeted selected Cessna and Piper owners for scheduling discounts and we were pleasantly surprised with the reaction during a summer of rising fuel costs,” said Kevin Hawley, CAV Aerospace Inc. president.
TKS™ Experts
“The response also reinforced what our 4,000 customers around the world know: We are the industry’s leading ice protection experts,” Hawley added.
Nearly 40 customers have scheduled TKS™ ice protection installations in August and September at company facilities at Salina Airport’s Aviation Service Center. Additionally, CAV’s after-market installation backlog extends well beyond the two remaining summer months.
