Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings Expands Commercial Segment Sales Team

Johnny Tolbert hired to support ongoing business growth with major carriers and OEMs.

ANDOVER, KS -- Johnny Tolbert joins Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings as Aerospace Commercial Account Executive. Bringing nearly 20 years experience in the aerospace industry, Tolbert will market aerospace coatings to the commercial airline segment in his new position. He also will oversee trials and demonstrations, providing customers with an in-depth understanding of the entire Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings product line (which meets SAE's 3095 Certification for airline exterior systems). The announcement was made by J. Marc Taylor, Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings Director of Sales.

Tolbert has specialized educational experience in hazardous materials management, as well as business administration and economics. Most recently, he worked as a Business Development Engineer at HSH Interplan's Aircraft Interior Coatings division in San Antonio, TX. Other experience includes working in business development, sales and marketing for a number of manufacturers in the solvent, coatings and aerospace industries, including McDonnell Douglas and Dysol.

A 1984 graduate of Eisenhower College in Seneca Falls, NY, Tolbert is an associate member of both SAE International and The Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE).
