DENTON, TX – Stephen McGee has accepted the position of Avionics Manager with US Avionics. The announcement was made by Michael Sykes, President of US Aviation, which owns the recently expanded avionics facility. As manager, McGee will be responsible for business development and sales, installations, warranty issues, repairs, auto pilots, and reconditioning of all types of communication and avionics equipment. He will also oversee avionics maintenance of the fleet of 25 aircraft utilized by the flight training program in the US Flight Academy in Denton and other facilities.

"The outreach and growth of the various activities at US Aviation has been phenomenal," says McGee. "Being challenged with oversight of in-house and outside avionics maintenance is an exciting prospect."

McGee has been active in the field of avionics for over two decades and has been aggressive in keeping up with the vast changes and transition to digital cockpits. He has worked on a wide range of corporate, general aviation, and law enforcement aircraft and helicopters.

"We have our sights set on making US Avionics a leading and respected operation in this region of the country," says Sykes. "With his experience and talents, Steve is a perfect fit for the expansion we envision."
