Messier Services Signs Contract With EADS

GLOUCESTER, UK -- Messier Services UK (SAFRAN Group) and EADS have signed a contract to provide landing gear overhaul services for the Royal Air Force’s Tornado fleet, via the aircraft prime contractor, BAE Systems.

This eight-and-a-half-year-term contract, covering 134 aircrafts, was signed by Erik Jensen, Vice President Military Operations, EADS, Ronald Hope, Vice President Supply Chain Management, EADS, and Paul Clifford, Managing Director of Messier Services UK.

"This major contract secures military work at the Gloucester facility up to 2016, and our company is very pleased to be able to guarantee the supply chain to BAE Systems, via EADS and Panavia," says Clifford.
