ANAHEIM, CA -- Sikorsky Aerospace Services at Heli-Expo announce the signing of an exclusive distribution agreement with NAASCO Northeast Corp. for an improvement to the S-76 Helicopter Starter-Generators. Sikorsky Aerospace Services is the aftermarket business of Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp.

The NAASCO Mercury Mod improvements were shown to extend the time between overhauls and typical life use of the Starter-Generators by providing a cooler operating temperature while concurrently offering lower operating costs and enhanced performance. The modification is available now to customers upon request.

"This distribution agreement is a fine example of the exceptional cooperation between the Sikorsky Cure engineering team and NAASCO, a sub-tier supplier, to improve a product and heighten customer satisfaction," says Samir Mehta, President, Helicopter Support Inc. (HSI), a Sikorsky Aerospace Services company. "HSI is pleased to bring this enhancement to customers as we continue to focus on their support and satisfaction."

HSI, in cooperation with NAASCO, will distribute the product to support customers.
