DENTON, TX – The US Flight Academy has hired Jim Tardi as Vice President, Director of Training for all operations. The announcement was made by Mike Sykes, President of US Aviation Group, which owns US Flight Academy.

Tardi, who holds ATP, Multi and Commercial Single Engine ratings, is also a CFII and MEI instructor. Most recently, he was Director of Training at the Air Safety Flight Academy in Glendale, AZ. Prior to that, he worked with Pan Am International Flight Academy, now called Trans Pac Academy in Phoenix. While with Pan Am, Tardi oversaw the flight training for approximately 1000 Chinese students.

Tardi, 54, took the position with US Flight Academy "because it is a very progressive and forward-looking operation that presents an outstanding opportunity. They will have about 100 Chinese students in their professional pilot training program by the end of the year. They also have 30 students from other countries and about 30 domestic students. We expect to grow those numbers," he says.

To provide training for all those students, the US Flight Academy retains 30 CFIs, who will be reporting to Tardi. For more information visit www.usflightacademy.com.
