DALLAS, TX -- Mexicana MRO Services, a business unit of Grupo Mexicana, announces its new Complex Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (cMRO) technological platform, developed and implemented in conjunction with Oracle.

The cMRO solution, which was presented at the MRO Americas Meeting Place for Industry Excellence, has facilitated the integration of all Grupo Mexicana's aircraft maintenance operations into one platform, which is divided into four management modules: Engineering, Planning, Execution, and Commercial.

"The business strategy we have been implementing for the last three years required a complete overhaul of our IT platform," says Manuel Borja, Grupo Mexicana CEO. "Today, we see a promising future in the aircraft maintenance business, which, combined with a solid platform like the one we have developed in conjunction with Oracle, our experience and human talent, will consolidate our MRO Services business unit as a major competitor on the Latin American market, to the benefit of our clients, not just in Latin America, but in the United States and Canada."

"This application is one-of-a-kind in its genre and a first for the international aviation industry, positioning Grupo Mexicana's MRO Services and Oracle as pioneers and IT visionaries in their respective segments," says Horacio Fernández, Oracle de Mexico CEO. "We have enjoyed working closely with Grupo Mexicana on what has been a fruitful venture and hope to forge a long-term relationship that will continue to benefit our clients."

Mexicana MRO Services has been certified by the aviation authorities of Mexico (DGAC), the United States (FAA) and Europe (EASA), which means it is authorized to perform maintenance services on Mexicana aircraft and aircraft from the United States and the European Community.
